The Bosnian Nation - The past and the future
This text grew out of the need to uncover all the delusions imposed on the inhabitants of Bosnia that they accepted naively or in good faith through the education system and through the systematic destruction and denial of Bosnian nationhood as an identity and of the Bosnian state.
Reawakening the awareness of belonging to the Bosnian people requires the unmasking of numerous myths created over the past one hundred and fifty years by various nationalisms, primarily Serb, then Croat, and more recently also Bosniak nationalism. These ideologies were constructed on completely disparate foundations compared to those that shaped Bosnia throughout its long history.
It is crucial to remember that both Bosnia and the Bosnian population survived as a unique people and state shaped as much by great empires as by the national movements of more recent times.
